Dealing with network connectivity related tasks on an ISP level ranging from last mile internet connectivity through to MPLS specialising mainly in Cisco products.
An opportunity to work and better myself, as well as being involved in an organization that believes in gaining a competitive edge and giving back to the community. I'm presently expanding my core experience in Cisco Routing and Switching. I focus on using my knowledge of network infrastructure and interpersonal skills to build good user experience and create a strong interest in my employers and their products. I hope to develop skills in the Cisco design certification and extend my knowledge of the everchanging and evergrowing industry. I seek to become an honest asset to the business with both my skills as well as my dedication. As an individual, I'm self-confident you’ll find me creative, funny at times and naturally passionate about the work I do. I’m a forward thinker, which others may find inspiring when working as a team.
I initially worked for a company in Cape Town where I assisted as their IT department manager, also assisting in web and graphic design as well as social media marketing. It was from here where I got into networking and moved to Johannesburg where I have been working for a corporate ISP. As it is in any company I assist in many areas outside of my skillset such as but not limited to Linux and Microsoft server infrastructure as well as Sonicwall and Mikrotik Firewall infrastructure.
I completed my Matric Certificate at the end of 2007 with a distinction in Computer Studies.
I did not complete my programming diploma due to a change in focus.
I wrote my CCNA:RS certification at the end of 2014.
